Full Review of the Katy Perry Super Bowl Halftime Show
It seems that each year, the Super Bowl halftime show gets better and better! This year, pop-queen Katy Perry took the stage and didn’t disappoint. Her setlist included some of her biggest hits, and we’ve never seen Katy better!

Perched on top of a robot-tiger, Katy opens with one of her more recent hits, “Roar.” Strutting in a red and yellow fire costume, Katy transitions to her song “Dark Horse” as backup dancers replicated her exact moves. The first guest to join Katy on stage was Lenny Kravitz, who sang a duet with Katy to one of her old tunes, “I Kissed a Girl”.
The Official Set list from Katy Perry’s Super Bowl XLIX halftime show:
Crazy laser light arrangements and fire shot up from the stage, bringing this performance to a whole new level! Katy returns seconds later dressed in a beach-ball themed crop top and skirt combo. The stage transitions into a beach theme, with dancing beach balls and Palm trees as she belts out the words to one of her old hits, “Teenage Dream”. Katy’s gal pals in rainbow polka dot bathing suit costumes join her on stage to dance back her up during “California Girls”. Katy runs off for her third costume change of the night, sporting a number 49 Jersey and singing along to “Work It” with a shocking second surprise guest of the night, Missy Elliot! After a fourth outfit change into a shimmering silver gown, she lets her true talent show as she is whisked up into the air on a “comet” platform while singing “Firework”. This was one of the most beautiful moments of the show, as different colored fireworks shot out of the building.
