Pop sensation Ariana Grande will be returning back to her acting roots this year with a guest starring recurring role in the new upcoming series Scream Queens directed by Ryan Murphy. This will be Grande’s first return to acting since the Nickelodeon television series Victorious and its spinoff Sam and Cat.
Ariana has been working hard on her musical career over the past few years, with the release of her two studio albums that both debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200. She has won numerous awards for her work, including the Billboard Women in Music Award as a rising star in 2014.
Scream Queens is scheduled to start filming this spring and will premiere in the fall on the Fox Network. The television show will star Glee’s Lea Michele, Keke Palmer, Abigail Breslin, and Joe Manganiello. The episodes are scheduled to be one-hour in length, with the first season focusing on a college campus that is overshadowed by a number of mysterious murders.
It is certainly exciting to see Ariana take on a role that is quite different from her previous ones and we can’t wait to see her on the big screens once again!
